It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to Charlie, a sweet and spunky pup who brought joy, comfort, and unconditional love into our lives. From the moment Mom met Charlie on April 29, 2021, it was love at first sight—even through Charlie’s long, matted fur, her gentle spirit and soulful eyes shone through.

Charlie came home with Mom on May 5, 2021, and that day, a bond formed that would never be broken. Just a week later, she had her first grooming appointment, marking the beginning of a new chapter filled with love, security, and (let’s be honest) a fabulous collection of cute outfits.

Charlie quickly made herself at home, not just in Mom’s house but in all our hearts. Whether she was curled up in a cozy lap, posing in her favorite sweater, or sharing quiet moments with the grandkids, Charlie was more than a pet—she was family. A loyal companion, a little shadow who followed Mom from room to room, and a gentle soul who somehow always knew when someone needed comfort.

Over the past few weeks, Charlie grew tired. Despite all the love and care surrounding her, her little body couldn’t fight anymore. Today, surrounded by love, she was gently laid to rest.

Charlie leaves behind paw prints on our hearts and a legacy of love, laughter, and memories that will never fade. She was deeply loved and will be forever missed.

Run free, sweet girl. You were so very good.
